WARSAW — A Warsaw man was arrested for allegedly inappropriately touching a woman.

Robert Paul Levelle, 37, 2562 Walton Blvd. No. 320, Warsaw, is charged with sexual battery and criminal confinement, both level 6 felonies; and battery, a class B misdemeanor.

On May 21, a Warsaw Police officer spoke with a woman, who said she was harassed and inappropriately touched by Levelle during a job interview.

According to court documents, the woman said when she entered the business, Levelle wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close, using his chin to force her forehead back and kiss her. When the woman tried to push against him to create distance, Levelle then inappropriately touched the woman. The woman pushed Levelle away and left the business.

Levelle texted the woman immediately after she left, apologizing and saying he was preparing job paperwork for her.

A Warsaw detective spoke with Levelle, who said he and the woman talked and kissed. He told police he inappropriately grabbed her.

Levelle was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on May 21. He has a pretrial conference at 9 a.m. Monday, June 30, in Kosciusko Superior Court Three.
