WINONA LAKE — The Village at Winona’s Village Art Fair is celebrating 25 years this year.
It’s from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 7, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 8.
There will be almost 70 vendors selling jewelry, sculptures, paintings and more.
Among them will be a booth showcasing art from the Northern Indiana Plein Air Artists Association.
The Village at Winona Managing Director Nick Hauck said the association will create the art during the fair.
Along with the art for sale, people may also enjoy live music. The schedule for that is as follows:
- 10-11:15 a.m. — Scott Workman;
- 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Ben Essick Jazz Quartet;
- 1-3 p.m. — Winona Acoustic Society; and
- 3-5 p.m. — Ivory Moss.
- 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Joe Justice; and
- 2-4 p.m. — Natalia Plastow.
There will also be kids’ activities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday put on by the Lakeland Art Association.
Hauck noted the art fair is “nationally recognized each year as one of the top 100 best fine art fairs in the nation from Sunshine Artist Magazine.”
“The arts are an important part of society, and everyone benefits from art in our community,” added Hauck of why the Village continues to have the fair.
