Cincinnati The name, menu, and prices of a high-end restaurant in Over-the-Rhine have all changed.
Crown Restaurant Group (CRG) stated that Five on Vine, which was located at 1324 Vine Street, has changed its name to Five Kitchen + Bar. Earlier this month, the eatery made the initial social media announcement about the move.
According to the restaurant group, the decision to rebrand the establishment was made in order to capitalize on its reputation as a popular destination for parties before and after games.
“As we’ve grown, we’ve recognized an opportunity to evolve in a way that invites a broader range of guests from casual diners and pre-game crowds to those seeking a neighborhood feel and a relaxed yet elevated experience,” CRG stated in a press release.
According to the restaurant group, the new moniker Five Kitchen + Bar more accurately captures an experience that is “both refined and relaxed” and where “culinary creativity meets familiar hospitality.”
The new menu at Five Kitchen + Bar will have “simplified offerings” and “more accessible price points,” according to CRG, as part of the rebranding. Some of Five On Vine’s menu staples will remain even if the menu has been updated.
A variety of culinary items, such as small plates, shareables, homemade pasta, entrees, and more, will still be available for visitors to order from the updated menu. Along with wine and beer selections, Five Kitchen + Bar will continue to provide a sizable cocktail menu.
“This refresh positions us to expand our audience and increase relevance in the downtown dining scene without losing the soul of what’s made Five special,” stated CRG.
