ELKHART COUNTY — The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced restrictions for an intersection improvement project on SR 119.
Starting on or after Monday, June 9, crews will be working between SR 9 and CR 9. Crews will be realigning CR 7 with SR 119 to help improve safety. Work on the project is expected to be complete by early October. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
During construction, drivers should watch for crews working in the area and at times traffic being directed by flaggers. CR 7 will not have access to or from SR 119 during this project, and drivers will need to seek an alternative route.
INDOT encourages drivers to use extra caution and drive distraction-free when traveling in and around work zones.
