Rachel Tobin announced as Kenton County Library HR Director

The Kenton County Public Library has appointed Rachel Tobin to serve as its director of human resources.

According to a statement from the library, Tobin brings 25 years of expertise from the public, private, and consultancy sectors to the position.Lisa Denham, the previous HR Director, just retired after 20 years of service, and Tobin will take up the position.

According to Tobin’s announcement, “I’m passionate about supporting employees, streamlining processes, and helping teams grow and succeed.” I’m excited to get to know each member of the KCPL staff and collaborate with them to serve the people and goals of the Library.

Originally from California, Tobin has worked throughout the country. She spent about a decade managing teams in the commercial real estate sector and in cable TV. She s held human resources roles at Ball Corporation, Kohler, Mohawk Industries, Greif, the City of Roanoke Redevelopment and Housing, as well as G & H International Services, Inc.
