On August 6, 2025, Cincinnati The Farmer Family Foundation donated $15 million to the Christ Hospital Health Network to help its esteemed Heart & Vascular Institute into a new age of innovation and excellence. The donation is the biggest charitable contribution in The Christ Hospital Health Network’s history.

Through the award, the team will be able to continue providing our community’s residents with top-notch treatment by advancing its renowned Heart and Vascular Institute to even higher heights. A new, cutting-edge cardiac operating suite with a broadcast center that provides local and international doctors with real-time surgical instruction will be developed with the help of the funding. Furthermore, by bringing the next generation of imaging technologies, such as MRI, CT, and PET scanners, to this community, the gift will help improve outcomes, increase our capacity for noninvasive diagnostics, and give patients and their families access to state-of-the-art treatments.
