On Monday, June 23, 2025, at 4:53 p.m., Merita Jean Carpenter, 67, of North Manchester, passed away at home.
She was born in Harlan, Kentucky, on July 19, 1957. She married Terry Carpenter on May 20, 1986, and he passed away in 2012.
She is survived by her sister, Lisa Nelson, Wabash; two brothers, Eddie (Fran) Napier, Wabash, and Ronald Napier, Akron; six grandchildren; a stepson, Travis (Carrie) Carpenter, Wabash; and a daughter, Denise (Charles Goodpaster) Carpenter, North Manchester.
Arrangements are being handled by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service in Wabash.
