On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, Elizabeth Dianne Sherrard, 56, was abruptly summoned to her ultimate resting place in Melbourne, Florida.

Robert E. and Blanche Diane (Buhrmaster) Sherrard Sr. welcomed Elizabeth, often called Beth, into the world on November 28, 1968, in Fort Myers, Florida.

After attending Whitko High School in 1987 and Indiana State University in 1992, Beth spent her early years in Pierceton. Beth had a lot of adventures, including working and traveling overseas. She eventually made Melbourne, Florida, her permanent home.

Beth was a passionate collector and cherished being a fur parent to her dachshunds. Barbie, Snoopy, Hello Kitty, dolls, and Hallmark ornaments were a few of her favorites. In addition, Beth loved to read, sew, quilt, craft, and antique. The excitement of searching for a deal she couldn’t pass up was especially appealing to Beth. Beth cherished and eagerly anticipated spending time with her loved ones.

As a devoted sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, niece, cousin, step-sibling, and stepdaughter, Beth will always be cherished. Her friends and family will always love her.

Beth is survived by her stepfather, Hoyt Byrum, of Sweetwater, Tennessee; step-siblings, Michael (Lauren) Byrum, of Fort Wayne; and sisters, Amy (William) Alberding, of Warsaw, and Megan (Neil) Hodges, of Syracuse; aunts, Kym (David) Arter, of Melbourne, Fla., and Elaine Buhrmaster, of Laurens, S.C. Her cherished nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and relatives are also left behind.

Her brother, Robert E. Bobby Sherrard Jr., and niece, Victoria L. Alberding, died before her, along with her parents, Robert E. Sherrard Sr. and Blanche Diane (Buhrmaster-Sherrard) Byrum.

On Saturday, July 19, at 11 a.m., Ammen Funeral Home, located at 1001 S. Hickory St., Melbourne, Fla., will host a celebration of life.
