According to a news statement from the district, this celebration is more than just a reflection of our past; it is an acknowledgement of the many generations of students, teachers, and community members who have helped to make Covington Schools into what it is today. We look forward to the future while being proud of the past.

Staff members will meet in the

auditorium on Monday morning. Following a meal and the ceremony and speech, they will then head out to the football field to pose for a special commemorative photo arranged in the shape of the numeral 200. The district will host other special events and programs throughout the school year, as well, to honor its bicentennial.
