Northern Kentucky’s own William Butler was named as an inductee into the Kentucky Entrepreneur Hall of Fame for 2025.

In 1965, Butler established his flagship company, Corporex, a real estate investment firm located in Covington. Today, the firm is a diversified real estate company that has built over $8 billion in facilities across 27 states.
Corporex comprises multiple divisions, including Corporex Development and Construction Management, Commonwealth Hotels, Five Seasons Sports Clubs, Corporex Realty and Investment and Corporex Capital.
Corporex is responsible for some of the most recognizable real estate projects in Northern Kentucky, including the RiverCenter along Covington’s Ohio riverfront and CirclePort by the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
Butler will be inducted into the Hall of Fame during a ceremony on Nov. 12 at Lexington’s Central Bank Center
