The Bacon, Bourbon and Brew Festival, which has free admission, is happening this weekend in Newport.

“Bacon, Bourbon & Brew Festival is a mouthwatering celebration of three of America’s favorite indulgences – bacon, bourbon and craft beer,”
according to the event’s website
. “Held along the scenic Ohio River, this high-energy weekend features creative dishes where every bite includes bacon, bourbon or beer (and sometimes all three!).”
The family-friendly festival will take place from July 18 to July 20 at
the Newport Festival Park along the Ohio River
. Festivities include local vendors, live music, inflatable play spaces for the kids and exclusive tastings and presentations from Molly Wellman, an award-winning bourbon expert, author and cocktail historian.
