Our break from the wet weather happens throughout the day on Friday. While we have a slight chance of a storm, like 20%, we will see a warmer and more humid day. Highs will get to near 90 degrees with heat indices shooting up to the mid 90s in spots.
The chance for rain will be back this weekend as a cold front, in name only, triggers isolated storms by the late afternoon on Saturday. The front lingers into Sunday, giving us another more likely chance of scattered storms throughout the day.
Frankly, the weather pattern really doesn’t change until midweek. At that point, a weather system will drop the heat and humidity.
