With a fundraiser centered around its burgers, the restaurant—which is well-known for its smoked chicken wings—is turning the page to honor Bubbles, a precocious chicken that left her home and rose to fame in a Fort Thomas Facebook community before being restored to her owner.
From 5 to 7 p.m. on August 11. There will be a meet and greet, photos, and, according to rumors, a chance to win some of Bubbles’ eggs at Midway.
Midway will be joining the fun and donating $1 of every burger to Woodland Schoolhouse, owned by Bubbles owner Emily Bankemper. While the city s chicken celebrity will only be at Midway from 5 to 7 p.m., the restaurant is donating $1 for every burger the entire day. Dine in and carry out.
