On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, Richard G. Walters, 87, of Kempner, Texas, who had previously lived in Elkhart County, passed away in Lampasas, Texas.
He was born in Elkhart County on August 17, 1937. He married Janet E. Secor on February 2, 1958, and she died before him.
He has three sisters, Linda Smith of Pittsburgh, Beverly Gill of Tennessee, and Judy (John) Dean of Niles, Michigan; a brother, Gary Walters of Guam; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and children, Bruce J. (Angela) Walters of Kempner, Texas; Jeri (Kevin) Hand of Milford; and Kris D. Walters of Edwardsburg, Michigan.
The arrangements are being handled by Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home in Nappanee.
