Bell, Janet
At the age of 85, Janet Joan Bell of Winona Lake died on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital. She was the daughter of Vernon and Maxine (Morris) Goddard and was born in Plymouth on December 7, 1939.
She pursued a profession in cosmetology after graduating from Plymouth High School, which enabled her to work from home and support her family. Every action she took demonstrated her love for her family.
Janet loved to play games and was frequently seen at Grace Village with friends playing euchre and bingo. She took great satisfaction in her roles as a mother and grandmother, and her commitment to her loved ones was the foundation of her life.
Her beloved grandkids, Kaitlyn, Michael, and Joshua Bell, as well as her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Vickie Bell, will continue to honor her memory.
Her parents, Vernon and Maxine Goddard, her sister, Carolyn Goddard, her brother, James Goddard, her first husband, Peter Bell, and her second husband, Paul Abercrombie, all passed away before her.
