MILFORD — Michael W. Troup, 57, Leesburg, died in a two-vehicle crash, north of Milford this afternoon, Wednesday, June 4. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Kosciusko County Coroner Tyler Huffer. The crash was reported at 12:30 p.m.
A passenger in his vehicle, Penny E. Coppes, 65, Milford, suffered lacerations and complained of pain to her body. She was taken to Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital, Warsaw, by Lutheran EMS.

Kosciusko County Officials are still investigating the crash, which occurred on SR 15, approximately 2,000 feet south of CR 1350N.
Sheriff’s officers and emergency personnel responded and located a Chevrolet Trail Blazer driven by Troup and an International semitractor/trailer driven by Joel Machorro De Leon, 58, Elkhart, involved in a head-on collision. The cause of the accident is undetermined at this time.
De Leon was not injured in the crash.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Milford Police Department, Milford Fire Department, Syracuse Police Department, Lutheran EMS, Reichert’s Wrecker Service, and the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation by the Kosciusko County FACT Team.
